China has emerged as the leading source market, contributing 11% of arrivals, followed by Russia and the United Kingdom. Resorts like OBLU XPErience Ailafushi remain the preferred accommodation across the best villas in Maldives, hosting 70.1% of tourists, while guesthouses account for 24.4%.
