Tourists Flock to Dubai

The United Arab Emirates has recently made a change in their visa policy that has resulted in a massive influx of foreign visitors. The change came in the form of a selected group of nationalities having the convenience of obtaining visa on arrival for free. Most of these visitors target Dubai since it is the most tourism oriented of the Emirates, which would be very beneficial to many a luxury hotel Dubai has to offer such as Desert Palm PER AQUUM.

Statistics have indicated that Dubai alone had an increase of twenty percent concerning Chinese visitors, since 2016 alone had attracted around 540,000 Chinese tourists. These relaxed policies have fostered more flight networks between the two countries as well. China is also considered one of the world’s most significant emerging markets, and the UAE’s flagship airline, Emirates, have announced direct flights to Yinchaun and Zhengzhou, which are in western and central China respectively.

Overall, the policy change had resulted in 14.9 million visitors for the year 2016.
