Delegates of the Travel Convention 2016 which was recently held in Abu Dhabi, were given a firsthand tour of the city’s newly constructed cruise terminal and a new luxury beach resort that is scheduled this winter. Several new facilities have been further added to the terminal since construction began last year, to entice a larger number of cruise lines to Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi excursions have always been popular among tourists due to the rising development, entertainment and luxury accommodation like the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, for example. The premium cruise line, Celebrity Cruises will make its first appearance in the Emirate in December to co-occur with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, its Celebrity Constellation cruise line running a program of departures. The entire project will mark a new step in Abu Dhabi’s growing invests in the tourism sector.
