Travellers from 18 countries that were previously denied entry into Oman were once more allowed to arrive following the lifting of this restriction in August 2021; however, one of the conditions of entry was that they must have received a full dose of a COVID-19 vaccination. The easing of restrictions gave expatriates and those working in Oman who had gone abroad to nations like Pakistan, India and Bangladesh a chance to return home.
Additionally, in a boost for the tourism industry in Oman, starting from 1st September 2021, tourists who had likewise received a full dose of the COVID-19 vaccination were also permitted entry. Such a move gives travellers a chance to visit once more for holidays in Oman; family resorts including the likes of Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort continue to offer unique experiences as well as safe stays with stringent health and hygiene measures in place.
