As a result of the safety protocols introduced by the Sri Lankan government and the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) to control the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic, the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has decided to grant the Safe Travels stamp to Sri Lanka. This will indeed play a major role for Sri Lanka in attracting more numbers of travellers from other destinations in the future.
Consequently, properties and other business organisations in Sri Lanka will have to acquire this stamp proving that they follow globally streamlined health and hygiene measures. Every luxury resort in Kandy Sri Lanka the likes of Hunas Falls Hotel Kandy will also have to receive this stamp in the future, and this can also be used as a perfect tool for promoting their properties among foreign travellers.
