Travelex launches Travel Money Card in Japan:  Currency Convenience

Travelex, a renowned player in foreign exchange services, introduced its prepaid foreign currency card to the Asian market with the launch of the Travelex Travel Money Card in Japan. This innovative card, designed exclusively for overseas use, offers a convenient and secure way for travellers aged 12 and above to manage their finances abroad.

The Travelex Travel Money Card boasts contactless payment capabilities and supports multiple currencies, including Japanese Yen, US Dollars, Euros, and Australian Dollars, among others. This versatility allows travellers to load their card with their preferred currency and seamlessly convert it into local currency when needed. With the added convenience of in-store or online acquisition and management through the Travelex Money App, this card is set to redefine the way Japanese travellers handle their finances on the go. While primarily used for overseas travel, it can also be used for travel within the country, for instance, during stays at new hotels in Kyoto at properties such as Travelodge Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi.
