Tripadvisor Names World’s Best Luxury Tour – A Siem Reap Trip Comes Out on Top

In June this year, Tripadvisor named its winners of the “Best of the Best” Things to Do, part of the 2021 Travellers’ Choice Awards. Amongst the diverse categories was “Luxury Tours” for which, a three-day tour across the Siem Reap province by Asean Angkor Guide was picked as the winner. On this trip, travellers get to visit Phnom Kulen National Park, Tonle Sap Lake, the Banteay Srei Temple and the famed Angkor Archaeological Park home to attractions like Angkor Wat and the Bayon Temple.

Of course, this isn’t the only way to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travellers can also opt to stay at a boutique hotel Siem Reap has to offer close to Angkor Wat; such properties like Anantara Angkor Resort offer guided tours of the archaeological park and its ancient temples. While visitors to Siem Reap have understandably reduced due to the pandemic, authorities are using this time to beautify the city and make it more pedestrian and cyclist-friendly; as highlighted on the TTG Asia website on 9th August 2021, this included creating a cycling path at the Angkor Archaeological Park.
