Tuk-tuk Trips in Sri Lanka Highlighted by Femina Magazine – Unique Island Adventures

On 24th April this year, the online edition of the popular Indian magazine, Femina, put the spotlight on a unique way travellers could explore the island of Sri Lanka on a self-driven tuk-tuk journey! It highlighted the adventures of Preethi Parthasarathy as she travelled solo by tuk-tuk to some of the best places to visit in Sri Lanka including coastal hotspots like Negombo, Hikkaduwa, Mirissa and Unawatuna; she also recommended tourists to try tuk-tuk journeys in the hill country at cities like Kandy and Nuwara Eliya.

Destinations such as Unawatuna and Nuwara Eliya continue to be popular with tourists looking to experience the island’s famed south coast and misty mountains respectively; one can also find the ideal ‘Safe & Secure’ certified accommodation here at properties of hospitality brands including Araliya Hotels & Resorts. Apart from the flexibility of travelling by tuk-tuk, Preethi Parthasarathy also highlighted the ease of renting these vehicles from companies like Tuktukrental.com, how safe the country is and the warm hospitality one can experience.
