Former Formula 1 driver and the reigning Audi R8 LMS Cup Champion Alex Yoong began the defence of this overall title of the Audi R8 LMS Cup this year in the first two rounds held at the Sepang International Circuit. Alex, a long-term winner for the past three consecutive years, lost the first round but won the second.
