Vietnam aims to reopen borders to all travellers from March – Rebounding from the pandemic

Vietnam, one of the popular tourist destinations in Asia, imposed some of the strictest travel restrictions on tourists coming into the country and locals flying out of the country. However, the country fully opened its borders to visitors on the 15th of March 2022.

Understandably, travellers still need to adhere to a few restrictions and rules. Every traveller above the age of two needs to get a COVID test done before arriving in Vietnam. The test should prove negative, and a copy should be produced upon arrival. Travel insurance is a must, which should have medical coverage of USD 10,000. A health declaration form must be filled out and submitted, and travellers are also required to download an app that allows them to keep their health in check. A visa should be acquired before arriving in the country, and it would be best if the travellers made reservations at one of the resorts in Vietnam in advance and properties such as Avani Quy Nhon Resort are readily available, so making a sensible accommodation choice won’t be difficult.
