Bringing Vietnam’s soul to the heart of Hong Kong

Vietnam mesmerised attendees at the Asia+ Festival on 10th November, held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, through a vibrant cultural display. Organised by Hong Kong’s Leisure and Cultural Services Department in partnership with consulates and cultural groups, this event brought together 23 countries and regions, including ASEAN nations, Macau, and Japan. With over 32,000 attendees, the festival celebrated Asia’s diverse cultural identity.

A Vietnamese dance group, led by Do Tu Quynh, enchanted audiences with performances inspired by the traditions of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic communities. Visitors also explored a booth by the Consulate General of Vietnam, which showcased authentic Vietnamese products like coffee and cashews alongside photo essays on the country’s culture and cuisine.
