Visit the Maldives and Expedia Hosts a Joint Webinar Targeting the US Market – Promoting a safe heaven

Visit the Maldives together with Expedia hosted a joint webinar recently targeting the US market and this was as a part of the Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP). This was more of a B2B webinar and over 390 agents had registered for this event. The webinar went on for good 45 minutes, and throughout the program, information on the tourism and travel industry of the Maldives, its attractions, and holiday properties were shared among the participants.

It was declared that many Maldives island resorts the likes of Huvafen Fushi Maldives are already open to welcome international travellers and that the country is planning to initiate the 3V tourism concept soon. Special arrangements were taken by the Maldivian government to ensure the health and safety of the travellers and this was also revealed in this online program.
