The South Asia Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) Travel Exhibition recently concluded in the Indian city of New Delhi and Walkers Tours were amongst the Sri Lankan participants that included other well-known names in the travel and hospitality industry. The exhibition which is one of the largest of its kind in India, gave participants a chance to promote a number of regional destinations such as Sri Lanka. Holidays to the island have grown in popularity and the event provided an ideal platform for local companies and tour operators such as Walkers Tours to showcase all that travellers can look forward to. Held from 15th to 17th February, the SATTE Travel Exhibition featured the participation of approximately 900 agents along with travel company representatives from 30 nations offered visitors a range of travel related information.
