Thailand decided to reopen its boundaries to vaccinated tourists in July under the ‘Sandbox program’. According to the latest news, this initiative is a success and other tourist areas including Samui, Chiang Mai, Phang Nga, and Krabi will follow this lead quite soon.
Many resorts in Thailand including Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort have been given the SHA certificate and this ensures the fact that these properties satisfy the health and safety guidelines governed by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), especially to control the spread of COVID 19. Since one of the most popular Ao Nang things to do includes sightseeing, attractions will also have to get the SHA certificate before opening to international visitors. Restaurants, bars, and shopping malls also have to get this certificate before they start their operations.
