Winter Tourism Refuge from Sri Lanka to Europe

As reported on Economynext on the 19th of September 2022, Sri Lanka aims to attract tourists who plan to escape sweater weather and sunbathe in tropical bliss in lodgings like The Calm Resort & Spa. Therefore, the winter season calls for a checklist of things to do in Pasikuda and other parts of the island to be added to your to-do list.

Priyantha Fernando, Chairman of the Tourism Development Authority believes that countries such as Germany will be seeking ways to escape the winter weather and the troubles of supplying sufficient levels of fuel and gas. Therefore, this is the right season to promote Sri Lankan tourism to the European market. While the island faced unforeseen challenges in the past months, Sri Lanka is now heading down the road to recovery and anticipates longer stays from their European tourists.
