World Poker Tour Coming to Australia – Gold Coast Hosts High-Profile Event

For the first time ever, the World Poker Tour will be coming to Australia, with the event scheduled to be held in Gold Coast, a popular destination in Queensland. Billed as a 10-day festival, it will run from 27th September to 7th October 2019; it will be hosted at The Star Gold Coast, a short walk away from Avani Broadbeach Gold Coast Residences and other centrally located Broadbeach hotels in the city.

10 events will be held during the World Poker Tour in Australia, with the main event starting on 4th October. The buy-in at the main event will be $2,500, while the buy-ins for the rest will start from $330 and can go up to $5,000.
