World Tourism Day – September 2015 Celebrating leisure with the Industries Giants

Goa Tourism will be hosting an event at the INOX Courtyard, Panjim in celebration of the World Tourism Day that falls on 27th September. Keeping with the global theme, Goa Tourism will use this opportunity to create awareness on the role Tourism plays in the conservation of water. The festival will be graced by the Tourism Minister of Goa himself Shri. Dilip Parulekar. The event will also see other high ranking officials such as the Chairman of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Shri. Nilesh Cabral. Tourism in India plays a very big role in the Country’s economy, especially as it contributes much to its output. Goa is the favourite of many visitors. Particularly, sightseeing in Goa is perhaps the most exciting of activities. Also, thanks to fine accommodation options like Alila Diwa Goa holiday makers find it hard to leave the place too soon.
The event will depict the importance of conserving water in the Goan context and will be full of educative and entertaining items for a period of three days from 27th to 29th of September, 2015.
