The WTTC Summit for 2017 is due to take place in Bangkok from the 25th to the 27th of April according to organizers. The Annual Global Summit of the World Travel and Tourism Council is now set to go ahead as planned says David Scowsill, CEO and President of the WTTC after The Royal Thai Government declared all planned events including religious and cultural festivals should go ahead as planned in spite of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
A tribute to Thailand’s late monarch will be a feature of the summit which attracted 600 global visionaries and leaders in various fields in last year’s installment. Declared the world’s most popular city to visit, Bangkok serves as the perfect venue for the event as attendees can secure accommodation in a city hotel in Bangkok or opt for AVANI hotels and resorts or countless other establishments within reach of the event venue.
