Abu Dhabi Hosts 1.7m Hotel Guests from January-April 2018 – An All New High!

According to the figures recently released by the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, the occupancy rates in Abu Dhabi resorts including the likes of Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara are at an all-time high with an increase of up to 1, 724,967.

A recorded 7.3% growth in hotel guests staying in the capital of the UAE was noted during the initial four months in 2018, compared to the same time period in the previous year. China maintained the leading position as the supplier of international hotel guests. With more than 164,500 Chinese guests flooding into the emirate. The USA registered a 22.2% while the UK experienced a rise of up to 16.9%. UAE- based visitors to the capital too has experienced an increase during the first four months to 489,081 from 488,881 of the previous year.
