Consumer Fair 2016 – Pre-New Year Retail Therapy!

One of the country’s largest and most popular seasonal fairs, the annual Consumer Fair took place yet again this year in Sri Lanka’s commercial capital Colombo. Offering the ideal meeting point for exhibitors and interested buyers, this 11 day event which ran from 1st to 11th April, 2016 attracted large crowds especially since it was held on the days leading up to the traditional Sinhala and Tamil New Year when it is customary for one to buy gifts for family members. At the Consumer Fair 2016, visitors had the chance to purchase a wide range of goods and products be it electronics, clothing, food, toys, home ware, baby products, kitchen utensils and equipment or personal care items.
