After a nine-year hiatus, Joe Denely will be opening England’s batting for the Test series in a One Day International against Sri Lanka. Originally a batsman but now considered an all-rounder Joe Denely has now been called into the ODI squad to replace Liam Dawson. The ODI will be followed by a Twenty20 International in Colombo and test series will be kicking off soon after in Galle this November.
