George Calombaris, the celebrity television personality and the much-loved judge of MasterChef Australia visited Sri Lanka recently. The most acclaimed restaurateur undertook an official tour to the island paradise of Sri Lanka from 8th to 11th June and was hosted by Cinnamon Life, one of the Colombo’s upcoming premiere lifestyle establishments. Starting off his career at one of the Melbourne’s five-star hotels he went on to clinch the Bonland National Apprentice Award at a very young age of 27. The MasterChef judge conducted a series of exclusive and interactive culinary programmes and also shared his experiences during his stay. Fans of Chef Calombaris were given the opportunity to savour his culinary masterpieces at two special curated dinners that served distinctive Greek cuisine followed up by a meet & greet session.
