Hai Nam Assembly Hall Open to Tourists – A must-visit on every traveller’s list

A UNESCO declared World Heritage site, Hoi An district welcomes the newest addition to its already-long list of attractions, the Hai An Assembly Hall. The hall was formerly opened to the public on the 23rd of November, 2016 and had been used as a site for congregation and other forms of community activities in previous centuries. The hall is also one of the five halls built by Chinese businessmen in Hoi An. The Hai Nam Hall was constructed in year 1875 as a tribute to the many Chinese traders who were mistaken for pirates and executed by the then emperor of Nguyen Dynasty. All five halls today are an indispensable part of the culture of the town and serve as a top attraction to the many tourists who seek accommodation at any Hoi An resort. The area also offers top accommodation options within close proximity to the hall such as the Anantara Hoi An Resort, making life easier for travellers who would like to visit the hall.
