Japan EXPO in Sri Lanka – Promoting Bilateral Friendship

Organised with the goal of catalysing and facilitating cooperation and understanding between the two nations, The Japan Expo took place over a course of three days from 21st to the 23rd of March, 2018.

This year’s convention boasted three times as much exhibition space as the previous year and prominently featured a celebratory showcasing of Japanese cinema as well. The movies, in particular, attracted an enthusiastic and appreciative group of attendees.

Since the convention was held at BMICH, perhaps the most iconic exhibition hall on the island, and easily accessible from any Colombo city hotel with examples like The Kingsbury Colombo, Many prominent business entities, from both nations, were featured at the event, and trade between Japan and Sri Lanka would definitely be supplemented due to the convention as well.
