Macau Dragon Boat Festival

The Macau Dragon Boat Festival is a much looked forward to popular event each year since its maiden launch in 1979. By 1982, it became an international contest due to its high popularity and wide participation from competitors from around the world. This famous festival falls on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month each year. It is jointly organized by the Sports Development Board and Dragon Boats Association of Macau.
