Samui Open Beach Volleyball Tournament – Some Competitive Fun!

Following the resounding success of the first Open Beach Volleyball Tournament held in 2017, the Koh Samui Beach Volleyball Club organized a bigger and better second edition which took place on the 17th and 18th of February this year. The competition saw 24 teams from across the world including from Thailand, Europe, North America and Austraila take part. The tournament which took place on the stunning Chaweng Noi Beach, Thailand, denoted the growing interest volleyball is attracting in the world of sports.

One of the main purposes of the competition was to promote beach volleyball in Southeast Asia. A nonprofit tournament, all proceeds went to the winners and promotion of the sport in the region.
