Sri Lanka Tourism Says Dengue Successfully Under Control – Battling the Mosquito Menace

According to a recent article published on Daily FT, the Sri Lanka Tourism Board has stated that the dengue epidemic which caused distress among the citizens for the past few months has been successfully controlled; this was due to the steps taken by the relevant authorities of the government along with the admirable public effort. The Ministry of Health declared that according to statistics, the total number of reported cases have reduced by 35-40% since mid-July.
