Sunbed Operators Request for More Areas to Operate on Patong Beach in Phuket

Recently, sunbed operators in Patong made a request to the local municipality, wanting an increase in the area of operation on the tourist hotspot of Patong Beach. Additionally, they also wanted to set up a new section with sunbeds. This extension in the area of operation was for the period from November to April which is generally the peak season for tourism. Amongst the reasons given for making such a request was to not only be able to better serve tourists, but to also assist to keep the areas of the beach clean.

The island has become one of the most popular destinations in Thailand and its beaches are top draws along with Phuket villas beside the ocean.
