Tet in Vietnam – A Festival Like No Other!

The Tet Festival is the most important and longest public holiday in Vietnam. Celebrated by natives and expats alike, the country was at its busiest during this time. The actual festival and the following celebrations lasted from the 9th of February till the 14th of February. Almost all means of transport were completely overloaded with tourists and expats traveling all over the country on domestic flights, trains, and buses with tickets often booked 6 months in advance. Many local holiday destinations such as Ninh Binh, Da Lat and Ha Long Bay in the north of Mui Ne were offering special travel packages as well. With an influx of visitors flooding the country, many hotels especially the likes of Anantara Mui Ne Resort, a well-known beach resort in Mui Ne enjoyed a busy and prosperous season.
