Travel Influencers Adjudge Sri Lanka as the Top Emerging Destination in Asia For This Year

The popular travel site, TravelLemming.com recently named Sri Lanka as the Top Emerging Destination in Asia for 2019. The relatively small South Asian nation topped the list from a category which included Mongolia, Bhutan, Hampi (India), Niseko (Japan) and Oman. The judges were made up of five travel influencers and bloggers who between them have more than 750,000 followers on social media; they go by the names Otts World, Mapping Megan, Travels of Adam, Hackerette and Nomadic Boys.

More and more travellers have been flocking to Sri Lanka, recognising that the country offers a quite diverse range of experiences along with accommodation options for varied budgets; this includes budget hostels, boutique hotels and luxury resorts in Sri Lanka with properties such as Blue Water Club Suites amongst the properties to choose from.
