Ulagalla by Uga Escapes was featured among ‘The 100 Greatest Hotels in The World’ on America’s most popular fashion and travel magazine Harper Bazaar

Harper’s Bazaar, one of the most prestigious and recognised fashion magazines throughout the world recently featured Ulagalla on their list of the ‘100 Greatest Hotels in the World’. This is definitely no small feat and would definitely garner the hotel immense recognition on an international scale. One of many hotels in Anuradhapura, this property, in particular, was praised for its swimming pool, which was described within the magazine as being one of the ‘loveliest in all of Sri Lanka’.

Another factor that was taken into consideration was the location in Anuradhapura, which is rich in terms of biodiversity, being a prominent hotspot for bird-watching, and for boasting a range of ancient heritage sites from thousands of years ago. The hotel was also noted for its provision of bicycles to guests, allowing them to casually explore the countryside.
