According to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), Singapore is set to break records this year, with international arrivals projected to surpass previous all-time highs. Latest research predicts that the nation will welcome almost 16 million visitors by the end of 2025, surpassing pre-pandemic records by 9.6%.
In recent years, the industry has been a driving force in Singapore’s economic development, generating over 570,000 jobs. This incredible trajectory is predicted to continue over the next decade, with an estimated revenue of 80 billion SGD by 2030.
From luxury hotels to long-stay apartments in Singapore, the nation continues to support the surge in tourists with world-class service. Further infrastructure development and expansions are set to facilitate the growing numbers, with newer facilities joining the ranks of lyf Farrer Park Singapore and other accommodations.
“This is not just a comeback – it is a transformation,” says WTTC President Julia Simpson, reflecting on the city-state’s position as a leader in innovation, and now, travel and tourism.
