The emirate of Abu Dhabi continues to update its “Green List” of destinations which encompasses nations, territories and regions from which arriving passengers will not have to undergo mandatory quarantine after landing; they will instead, have only to submit to a PCR test once they arrive at the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The list is continually being updated taking into consideration COVID-19 developments around the world to ensure that the health and safety of the UAE community are protected.
As of 8th March 2021, it featured 13 destinations including New Zealand, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Mauritius and Kazakhstan. This is a positive sign for the tourism industry and the hospitality sector which are prepared as well; 5-star hotels in Abu Dhabi, be it in the city or farther away at properties like Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, follow comprehensive hygiene and health measures to ensure the safety of guests too.
