Offering guests a chance to experience a truly holistic wellness retreat, Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort in Sri Lanka recently introduced four special packages centred around the traditional healing method known as Ayurveda. Referred to as “wellness journeys”, these week-long programmes each have something different to offer; they feature the assistance of the resident doctor of Ayurveda, life coaches as well as personal trainers and yogis who will help one come up with a long-term wellness plan.
Focusing on bringing about a balance of mind, body and spirit, these ayurvedic journeys vary from each other. The Inner Harmony Ayurveda programme is based on bringing a sense of calm to your body and mind leading to spiritual and emotional balance. On the other hand, the Rebuilding Detox is a specialised detox programme to bring about physical and mental wellbeing. The Natural Weight programme focuses on healthy weight management, while the Deep Sleep wellness journey is designed to help one find true rest, relaxation and restoration.
