Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort Rooftop Hydroponic Farm – Greens From the Rooftop

In partnership with the Bangsai agricultural centre, Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort has initiated its own rooftop Hydroponic Farm which provides fresh herbs and vegetables to guests. Designed using the dynamic root floating technique system and maintained using the hydroponic drip irrigation bucket system as well as the water fogging system, the rooftop farm is a sight to see. This 2,800 square-metre rooftop hydroponic farm is one of the first such initiatives by a Bangkok resort and spa. In addition to the wide variety of vegetable produced, the rooftop farm plays host to both Western style and Asian herbs, giving guests a chance to indulge in crunchy and flavourful herb infused dishes. Hydroponic farming dates back to ancient times and this method has gained popularity in recent times as it is a way of growing vegetables and herbs simply by using nutrients and water.
