Together with thirteen other leading Hua Hin Resorts in the country, Anantara Hua Hin Resort recently took the initiative to conduct an awareness program in order to inform Thai school children of the importance of motorcycle safety.
Taking a look at the numbers is rather worrying, considering how less than 7% of Thai children actually wear a helmet when riding on motorcycles with their parents. Thereby, approximately 93% of Thai children are actually risking their health and lives itself just on their commute to and from school.
The recent event took place as part of a corporate social responsibility project directed at protecting and saving the lives of the youth of Thailand’s Hua Hin and Prachuap Khiri Khan areas. The hotels got together to donate over 1,000 helmets to the schoolchildren.
