Asian Beach Games ceremonial flame arrives in Phuket- Let the games begin!

The 4th Asian Beach Games is scheduled to be held from 14th to 23rd of November 2014 in Thailand. The ceremonial flame which is also known as Fai phra ruek was brought to Phuket on 10th November at 3.30 pm. After which it was placed on a movable throne and was taken in a parade to Saphan Hin.

A special ceremony was held at Saphan Hin, consisting of cultural performances by students from the Plukpunya Municipality School and Phuket Rajabhat University. The Thai masked ballet performance by the students of Plukpunya Municipality School was enjoyed by all. Travellers who are planning to attend the Asian Beach Games 2014 could consider staying at one of the Phuket luxury hotels such as Anantara Phuket Layan Resort & Spa which is reputed for offering comfortable accommodation for guests.
