Hoi An named among world’s most famous canals

The US based travel website www.touropia.com recently announced that Hoi An canal in Vietnam has been listed and featured as one of the 10 most famous canals in the world in their website. The ancient city’s Hoai River and its channels are recognised by UNESCO as a world heritage and is ranked fourth in the list. Hoi An also boasts of being listed as one of the top 10 Asian cities in US magazine Conde Nast’s Traveller’s Readers Choice Awards in 2012.

It is a well known fact that most locals and foreign tourists visit Hoi An to walk around the Hoai River canal banks and love to release colourful lanterns into the night sky on full moon nights creating a mesmerizing picturesque to watch from a distance. Anantara Hoi An Resort is a splendid choice for a Hoi An Spa Resort to stay at while touring the ancient Hoi An city.
