Ramadan is a festival that is celebrated with utmost grandeur in the UAE and this year Abu Dhabi has taken it up a notch to give visitors to the emirate a memorable experience. Some went all out and brought a touch of the wild into their Iftar celebration. Al Ain Zoo gave visitors the opportunity to dine with the Kings of the Jungle at the edge of the lion’s territory.
Back at Emirates Park Zoo, visitors were given the chance to partake in breaking fast with either giraffes or elephants. Both mentioned zoos offer free full day passes to explore the wildlife as well as a wide spread for Iftar. Pura Eco Retreat in Jebel Hafit Desert Park offered visitors an iftar experience around a campfire. Guests from Oaks Liwa Executive Suites and many other hotel apartments in Abu Dhabi took the chance to experience this unique activity.
