As 2026 brings new opportunities for travellers, Bangkok is gearing up for an eventful year with its 2026 festival calendar. The vibrant celebrations of the Chinese New Year (February – March) and Thai New Year (April) promise plenty of traditional festivities and cultural displays early in the year.
Meanwhile, the Thailand Tourism Festival is set to take place in March, offering plenty of cultural performances, craft demonstrations and speciality promotions at every shopping mall in Bangkok. Similarly, the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale is expected to take place from June to August, offering the most significant shopping discounts of the year.
