Bodhgaya recognized in Hindustan Times – A new and unique twist to tourism in India

A new trend, a rather unusual one, in terms of tourism in India: International hotel chains are branching out into smaller cities. Previously you’d have found hotels in two main spots: out of the way tourist spots and main commercial spots. The hotels that look to build a presence in the smaller cities will not invest in land, instead, they’ll get into contracts with residential developers, industrialists, and small-time real estate companies.

Domestic travel drives the Indian market, hence, the demand for hotels and other forms of accommodation is in the rise. Many high-end hotel chains such as Oaks Bodhgaya have branched out, making it easier for travellers to find a hotel in Bodhgaya when the requirement arises.
