Botswana Promises to Shut Down Illegal Tourism Camps – A stepping stone to tourism

As per the Minister of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism, the tourist camps that operate illegally will be shut down. This action came about as he mentioned the government wants a community that respected the law, closing any business that operates illegally. The minister also went on to inform that the promotion of citizen empowerment in the tourism industry is underway, with priority given to those in the wildlife management areas in order to promote the protection of natural resources.
