Chatrium Launches Food Handling Programme by ServSafe for Staff

In keeping with the stringent safety and health protocols it has adopted, Chatrium Hotels & Residences has implemented the new Food Handling Programme by ServSafe. Employees who go through this programme will receive training from ServSafe which is a part of America’s accredited National Restaurant Association. There are five main components covered in the course; Personal Hygiene, Basic Food Safety, Cleaning & Sanitation, Time & Temperature and Cross-contamination & Allergens.

As part of the programme, there is an assessment to complete the certification process. Such initiatives also help instil confidence in visitors as they plan to travel and look for accommodation be it at resorts in Bangkok or hotels in Chanthaburi, Thailand; they will know that staying at properties the likes of Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao Chanthaburi comes with the added assurance that staff are well-prepared to maintain high levels of health and hygiene. More than 250 Chatrium employees have successfully been certified under this new programme which is a part of the brand’s Chatrium Promise, a special health and safety initiative.
