Dragon Boat (Tuen Ng) Festival

The Dragon Boat (Tuen Ng) Races Festival that marks the death of poet and statesman Qu Yuan in 278BC, who killed himself out of his despair at his homeland being ruled by a rival state, will be held in June 2015 at Nam Van Lake, Macau, China. The legend says that his supporters offered sticky rice wrapped in bamboo, intended to feed him in the afterlife, and that these zongzi are now associated with the festival. This prominent cultural event is especially open for the Galaxy Privilege Club members that are considered as belonging to an exclusive Macau hotel membership club that cannot be compared with many other such clubs.
