Dubai re-opened its boundaries to international travellers in July 2020, although it got several criticisms from the world. Although the number of tourist arrivals was way lesser than that was reported before the COVID 19 pandemic, Dubai tourism officials were satisfied with it. They are still highly ambitious about a positive recovery, given that all Palm Jumeirah hotels the likes of Avani Palm View Dubai are also open for regular operations.
Although the officials expected a bigger growth in the travel and tourism industry, they had to face issues when the UK banned most direct flights from the UAE. India is also one of the main markets, but the UAE has taken a decision to ban entry for those who have recently visited India- considering the negative impact of the pandemic there.
