Emirates Announces Increased Flight Frequency to the Maldives – The islands see an increase in arrivals
Just before the Easter holidays, Emirates Airlines increased the number of flights coming into the Maldives encouraging locals and other travellers to holiday on the islands. This was to meet the massive demand that seemed to have built up closer to the holiday month. Passengers were also offered great flexibility when making bookings with the airline via the official website.
From March 28th onwards the number of Emirates flights arriving per week was 28. This went on till the 28th of April. OZEN Reserve Bolifushi and other resorts saw an influx in stays during this period. Every luxury resort in Maldives was equipped with equipment and skilled staff to handle guests during the pandemic. However, so far everything has been well controlled with the gradual but sure rise in tourism once again in the Maldives.
