Attracting more than 70,000 participants, and a total prize money for the Marathon of US$ 300,000 the Hong Kong Marathon is a signature international sporting event sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank. The 42-kilometer Marathon Route starts in Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui and ends in Victoria Park in Hong Kong Island. This event was held on the 21st January 2018 and those who were holidaying in places such as Dorsett Wanchai Hong Kong, which is a popular Wan Chai hotel, were able to be a part of this event.
There is also a Half-Marathon, a 10km Race, a Half-Marathon Wheelchair Race and a 3km Wheelchair Race as well as just for fun non-competitive family runs.
