It has been recently announced that the first ever SeaWorld park outside the United States will be built on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
The announcement was made by SeaWorld together with Abu Dhabi’s Miral Asset Management. The park is expected to be open to the public in 2022. As do all SeaWorld theme parks, the aim here will be to teach people about marine life and the importance of conservation.
According to Miral’s Chief Executive, Mohamed Al Zaabi, SeaWorld promises to bring international standards in terms of animal research, rescue and rehabilitation to the UAE.
Already quite the tourism and entertainment hub, Abu Dhabi has plenty of eateries and other recreational activities. Those looking for good Abu Dhabi desert restaurants for an authentic Arabian dining experience should consider the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara.
