Showcasing the very best musical performances, the Abu Dhabi Classics programme will bring much loved orchestras and musical talent to the Middle East. This special season of music which will feature performances in a variety of locations commenced on October 14th, 2014 and is set to run till May 2015. The various concerts and performances are set to take place in a number of venues across Abu Dhabi including the Manarat Al Saadiyat Auditorium, Al Jahili Fort, Emirates Palace Auditorium and the Abu Dhabi Theatre. Music fans can stay at Abu Dhabi beach hotels such as Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara and head to venues which host these concerts. Among noted performers set to attend are composer Jordi Savall, violinist Gidon Kremer and pianist Lydie Solomon. Highlights include Jordi Savall’s world premiere concert on 20th November and performances by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra on 15th and 16th of December.
