Greater Whitsunday Farmers Markets – The Freshest of the Fresh!

Showcasing fresh local produce and value-added products from the Whitsunday, Isaac and Mackay region, Greater Whitsunday Farmers Markets gives visitors and locals the opportunity to buy directly from farmers. Those who are based at Mackay hotels the likes of Oaks Carlyle will have easy access to this market. The Market opened to the public on the 1st of October and will go on until the 26th May 2018 at Wood St Park, Mackay, Queensland 4740 Australia.

Farmers markets can be a whole lot of fun. Not only do you get the chance to buy some of the freshest produce in the region, but you also get to meet the people who grow them. The atmosphere is far removed from the somewhat typical shopping mall setting and you get the opportunity to mix and mingle as well as discover those sometimes hard to find ingredients as well.
